What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We hope our wedding will be a fun reason to break out your favorite cocktail attire! Cocktail dresses, dress suits, dresses that are shorter than floor length, suits with or without a tie and/or a sports coat are all appropriate.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The Springs Event Venue: 27274 N Macarthur Ave, Blanchard, OK 73010 The ceremony will be outside followed by an indoor cocktail hour and buffet dinner reception.

May I bring a plus one?

Answer

We unfortunately had to cut the guest list off at some point. Therefore, guests with a plus one were already notified.

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

Oh yes there will be! We'll have a cocktail hour with light appetizers, beer, wine, and a signature drink while we take post ceremony photos. Then, a buffet dinner followed by cake and other desserts. Of course, non alcoholic drink options will be provided, as well.

There is a large, free and convenient parking lot on the venue’s property.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony and post on social media?

Answer

We kindly and respectfully request all phones be silenced and out of sight during our UNPLUGGED ceremony. We have a talented photographer and videographer we’ve entrusted and paid to capture our much anticipated day. We ask you trust them, as well. We promise to share the photos and videos with all of you.

Answer

Will Rodgers World Airport in Oklahoma City, Ok is the closest public airport. Tulsa, Ok airport is 2 hrs northeast. Dallas, Tx airports are 2 and a half hours south.

Will Maddie be changing her last name?

Answer

While changing her last name to HigDunn was tempting.... LOL... Maddie will be changing her last name to Dunn and is looking forward to her future students calling her Mrs. Dunn.

How should I get a gift to the bride and groom?

Are there expectations of CoVID protocol?

Answer

Please be responsible. If you’re experiencing symptoms, stay home. If you’ve had a known exposure, and are symptomatic, stay home.

Is transportation from hotels provided?

Answer

Due to the remote location of the venue, transportation will not be provided. We suggest car pooling and making sure you have a designated driver.

Where should we stay while we’re in town?

Answer

Please refer to the travel section on our wedding website where several convenient hotels in multiple price ranges are recommended.
