Can I bring a date?

Yes! Even if your plus-one is not annotated on your invitation, we anticipate that every guest will bring a plus-one. Please reach out if you have further questions!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Unfortunately, no. To ensure all guests are able to enjoy the event, and for the safety and comfort of your children (our venue is located along the water with no railings or safety measures to prevent accidental trips, falls, etc.), we respectfully request that there are no children at the ceremony or reception. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Yes! Transportation is provided by Lowcountry Trolley. Trolleys will depart from each hotel: Hotel Emeline, Courtyard by Marriott Charleston Waterfront, King St. Bus Shed (for guests staying at the Francis Marion Hotel) Schedule: 4:00pm - Trolleys depart from hotels to Historic Rice Mill 9:30pm - Trolleys depart from Historic Rice Mill to return to hotels

Is there a dress code?

The dress code for the ceremony and reception is black tie.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?
Answer
Yes. There is a parking lot at our venue that accepts card and cash payments. Uber and Lyft are also readily available and can bring you to the venue.

What's the best airport to fly in to?
Answer
Charleston International Airport (CHS) is only about a 20 minute drive from downtown Charleston.

What's the best way to get around Charleston?
Answer
We've had really good luck using Uber and Lyft to get around and it's a very walkable city. If you prefer to rent a car, we've found driving and parking around the city pretty convenient as well.
