FAQs

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Yes! We would love to have all of our family including the little ones. We do remind parents/ guardians that child care will not be provided so please keep a close eye on the adventurous ones!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Unfortunately due to legal reasons we will not be serving alcohol at our wedding.

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes, there will be free parking. The building as well as the parking lot will be handicapped accessible.

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. The reception will be indoors with restrooms also.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately due to limited budget we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to “(your name) & guest” if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate “will NOT attend” on your RSVP. If you have already RSVP’d please notify Maddie, Robby, Cindy or Taylor as soon as you are aware so we may plan accordingly.

Question

What if I didn’t RSVP on time?

Answer

If you did not RSVP by October 20th 2024 you will be marked as “NOT attending”. We would love to celebrate with you, however we have to provide an exact count for our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP’s. (This will mean you will not be allowed to attend our wedding as there will be no seating, food, drink accommodations for you.)

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal. We absolutely want all of our guests to feel confident and comfortable in their clothing. We ask that you dress as though you are going to a wedding. Don’t worry! You won’t outshine the bride! With that being said we do ask that you DO NOT WEAR WHITE! You may have white accent pieces or small pieces of white in your attire. Wearing solid or mostly white will result in your immediate exit of the venue.

Question

Can I take pictures of the ceremony?

Answer

We have an excellent photographer booked to capture our special day. The ceremony will be a “no phone zone” as we will be “in the zone” devoting our lives to each other and wish to keep distractions to a minimum. We will share all of the pictures of the ceremony so you may have your pictures! We will be taking a video as well so do not worry about the pictures and videos of our ceremony as we already have planned accordingly!

Question

I’m at the venue, but I’m lost?

Answer

Understandable. If you are coming from Murfreesboro road, you will pass the parks office, and continue straight until you reach a fork in the road. You will make a slight right and pass the cedars Forrest lodge. Once you’ve passed the lodge you’ll see a playground and gazebo to your right. The ceremony will be held there. The building to your left will be where the rest of the wedding will be held once the ceremony is finished. If you are coming from E Richmond Shop road, you will pull in until you reach a stop sign, once you’ve reached a stop sign you will turn right and reach a fork in the road. You will make the slight right and continue straight until you see the assembly hall building. It will have a play ground, gazebo and outdoor restrooms building around it. If you have any questions please contact Brenda, Cindy, Eli or Taylor for further assistance.

Question

I’m visiting, where can I stay?

Answer

There are many hotels in Gallatin and many airb&bs around the venue. We will not be accommodating out of town guests. The Cedars of Lebanon State Park has beautiful cabins located on the premises ranging from $150-$455. The cabins are giving Gatlinburg vibes. Visit the Cedars of Lebanon State Park in Lebanon Tennessee to book your cabin or camping ground.
