Yes, because many of our guests will be traveling from sea level and different climates, we recommend drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to your trip and while you are here in Utah. The high desert elevation can affect everyone a little differently, and staying hydrated makes a big difference. We are closer to the sun so make sure to wear sunscreen. A fun note: higher elevation can also mean alcohol hits a little faster than usual 🍸 so be sure to pace yourself, drink extra water, and take care of yourself while celebrating with us.
We've planned an intimate ceremony with a very limited guest list due to our venue's size, so unfortunately we're unable to accommodate additional guests. We hope you understand, and we can't wait to celebrate with you.
Yes, formal or cocktail attire! As a reminder, mountain evenings can get chilly, so we recommend bringing a jacket, wrap, or an extra layer to stay comfortable.
Yes, more information to come!
Yes, listed on the travel page we have many options listed. While we don't have any hotel room blocks available, we listed other great options. We recommend staying close to Brighton Ski Resort in Big Cottonwood Canyon at an Airbnb or at one of the many Solitude hotels. If not in the canyon, we recommend staying in Cottonwood Heights, Holladay, Murry, and Sugarhouse in the Salt Lake City area.
Late September in Salt Lake City is usually beautiful, with warm sunny days and cooler mornings and evenings. Daytime temperatures often range from the 70s to low 80s, while evenings can cool down quickly once the sun sets. Because part of our celebration will be in the mountains near Brighton, expect temperatures there to be about 10 to 15 degrees cooler than in the city, especially after sunset. Mountain evenings can get chilly, so we recommend bringing a jacket, wrap, or an extra layer to stay comfortable.
The ceremony will be outside and starts at 4pm please be seated at 3:45pm. You will need to park about 100 ft below and walk up a hill. If you need parking accommodations please let us know, there is limited parking available outside the lodge. Please bring comfortable shoes to walk on gravel and dirt.
Yes, there will be an option to make special requests.
