If you are looking for a direct flight from the US to Italy, likely you will go through this airport. Rome is about a 5 hour car ride south of Florence, but only about a 90 minute high speed rail ride to Florence. If you choose this airport, please follow the train instructions here as well.

If you are to fly into Rome and take the train to Florence, please book tickets direct through TrenItalia! There are many scam websites out there for train tickets and this one will have all up to date schedules and lines as it is the official site. Please note, you must VALIDATE your ticket when you are on board to avoid a fine. There are clear instructions on the ticket confirmation for how to validate.

We will be offering two different shuttle busses taking guests from Florence to the Villa. We are working on the exact timing but pickup will be from the SM Novella Train Station. For any reason should you miss the shuttle to the villa, we will provide recommendations for private transportation. Ride time estimated 45 mintues. This also will take place on the return date of Sunday, May 17th and take us all back to Florence.

We will have 2 shuttles taking us back to Florence and will drop off at the SM Novella train station. Pickups will start at 12pm and will take roughly 45 minutes to get back to the city.
