Yellowstone National Park
Make reservations for reservable campsites or hotel rooms as far in advance as possible: don't expect to find a spot at the last min. The 7 first-come campgrounds usually fill by early AM. Inside the park, expect busy facilities & destinations, reduced parking, as well as delayed travel times due to heavy traffic & wildlife jams. - TIPS - ARRIVE EARLY "Rush hour" at park entrances is generally 9am - 11am, check the webcams for a live look at traffic conditions at the N and W entrances. STAY LATE Take advantage of long, summer days and you'll find fewer crowds as PM approaches. During summer, it doesn't get dark until after 9pm. Be sure to check for road construction that might affect PM travel. PEAK HOURS Destinations like Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River, & Norris Geyser Basin see peak visitation 10am - 3pm, avoid these spots then if possible. HIKE Walk a half mi from your car and you'll leave the crowds behind (usually).
Bozeman Hot Springs
Bozeman Hot Springs is conveniently located just minutes from Gallatin International Airport, Yellowstone National Park, and Big Sky Resort. Use their state of the art equipment and then go relax in the hot springs to rejuvenate your muscles.
Montana Grizzly Encounter
Montana Grizzly Encounter is a Grizzly Bear Rescue & Education Sanctuary in Bozeman, Montana. Founded in 2004, MGE provides a spacious and natural home for rescued grizzlies. At the same time it offers the public a place to come and learn about grizzly bears as they watch the majestic animals “up close” in a beautiful mountain setting.
