Check out downtown Bend - lots of cute shops to peruse! The Bend Store would be a great place to get a momento from your time here if you like, but lots of other great shops nearby as well.
We love to rent bikes here and ride the trails! Just 30 minutes away from Bend.
Free to enter and no parking pass required. A good spot for moderate hiking.
You can get a day pass for this park when you enter. Great for hiking and climbing, but it can be a bit intense. There are some great viewpoints that you can get to by car though. About 45 minutes from Bend in Redmond, OR.
The River Loop is a great easy walk. You can park in the Old Mill District, which is an outdoor mall, another great place to visit if you enjoy a bit of shopping.
Munch & Music on Thursday August 7th - free live music and street food fest at Drake Park.
Tedeschi Trucks Band & Whiskey Myers are playing on August 7th and 8th. Tickets available but you can also listen to the music for free while floating the river or walking around Old Mill.

Maddie and I love to float the river! You can rent tubes and get bus transportation through Tumalo Creek for $27/person. They also offer kayak and canoe rentals if that's more your thing.
