Catania–Fontanarossa Airport
The easiest way to get to Taormina is to fly into Catania. You can fly direct into Catania from NYC on Delta. Direct flights from European cities to Catania include Rome, Milan, Bologna, Naples, Venice, Florence, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Barcelona, Paris, Madrid, London, Amsterdam, and several others. From Catania, it is an easy one-hour train ride or a 45-minute drive. We recommend taking the train or booking a car service unless you plan on exploring other areas of Sicily by car. Driving in Sicily is an adventure that is not for the weak.

Train from mainland Italy
If prefer not to fly from mainland Italy, you can also take a train that connects to Taormina via a ferry through Messina. The train from Naples takes around 6 hours.

Hotels in Taormina do not offer large wedding room blocks, but we are happy to help you answer any accommodation questions. We recommend staying within walking distance of Corso Umberto. This is the town center and will be where transportation pick-ups will be organized from for the Wedding. Please feel free to contact Maddie or Julian with any questions on where to stay. Airbnb, VRBO and Booking.com have great priced options as well! We highly recommend checking there too.
