Question

Where is the wedding ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

All wedding events will be taking place at Saint John's Resort. The ceremony will be taking place in the Garden Pavilion and the reception will follow directly after in the Grand Ballroom.

Question

What airport should we fly into and how do we get to the hotel?

Answer

Fly into the Detroit Airport (DTW). Saint John's Resort is about a 20 minute drive from there. You can absolutely use a ride share service like Uber to get there, or feel free to rent a car if you prefer.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Yes! We recommend you stay at Saint John's Resort, but since rooms are going fast, we also have another block of rooms reserved right down the street at the Hilton Garden Inn in Plymouth. Please see our Travel page for details.

Question

What is the Welcome Party and what is the dress code?

Answer

For those traveling in for our wedding, we would love to have you at our Welcome Party on Friday to kick off the weekend. The Welcome Party will be on property at Saint John's at Doyles Pub. Dressy casual attire - this means we'd prefer no jeans or shorts (think sun dress for women and slacks and a top for men).

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

The attire for our wedding is Black Tie Invited. This means formal evening wear is encouraged! Here’s a quick guide: For men: A tuxedo is preferred, but a dark formal suit with a tie or bow tie is also acceptable. For women: A floor-length dress or formal cocktail dress is ideal. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask us!

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.
