If you could respond by June 23rd that would be awesome! That gives us a month before the wedding to lock down the head count and start making a seating chart.
The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm, so we recommend you get here at least 15 minutes before so you can get settled before the proceedings! We expect guests will start arriving shortly after 3:00pm.
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. We believe we accounted for all plus ones in the guest list and invitations, which will also appear if you RSVP online.
Since the ceremony and reception will be in a neighborhood with narrow streets, parking will be limited. Please try to plan ahead and carpool with other guests, or take an Uber/Lyft. We will also have a shuttle at the Whitney Peak that will start taking guests to the venue right at 3:00 (so try to meet at the Valet by 2:45), and again at 3:30. We will also have them take guests back to the Whitney Peak after the party is over.
Yes, we have one shuttle bus that will start taking guests to the venue right at 3:00pm. There will be a second trip at 3:30pm. Since there is limited seating (23 seats), please try and meet at the valet before 3:00, and if there is an overflow of people for the first trip you can grab a quick drink at the bar and make it on the second trip! We will also have them take guests back to the Whitney Peak starting at 9:30PM (or earlier if requested- it will be parked down the street during the time of the wedding and reception). We have the shuttle until midnight, so it can make multiple trips.
Yes, kids are welcome! We will have a kids section with games for the little ones to stay busy and have some fun. Please make sure they are included in the RSVP! If their name is not listed in the Online RSVP, or there is not a space to add them please reach out to us.
The dress code is dressy casual. Since it's a backyard wedding we don't expect you to get too fancy, but sundresses, and blouses for the ladies, and collared shirts, and slacks or nice jeans for the gentlemen would be perfect. It will be a hot day out, so plan for that as well!
Since it's in the middle of summer, we expect it to be a hot day out. Most likely in the 90s-100s. The ceremony will be in the front yard which has limited shade at that time of day, but it should only be 30 minutes long- so you can move to the shaded backyard for the reception!
Yes! We have a hotel block at the Whitney Peak located in downtown Reno (about 10 minutes from the venue). The hotel block is available until June 23rd, so be sure to book those rooms ASAP for a nice discount! More information available on the "Travel & Reccomendations" tab.
