Wedding Party

Janie Greene

Maid of Honor

Janie and I met at a bonfire hosted by our mutual friends in early winter of 2023, and we clicked instantly. Since then, we've gotten the chance to grow up together in ways I would have never predicted. From our chaotic and restless lives of sophomore year to finding our future husbands, careers, and, in many ways, ourselves, this friendship has always been an answer to prayer. It is an honor to have her stand by me as I enter this next season. She is all things kind, wise, and sincere, and to have her as a friend is truly a blessing.

John Clark Payne

Best Man

My A1 since day 1, JC and I have known each other since the first grade. We grew up together, lived in a basement in Poland together, shared the Penthouse Penthouse, and yet another basement in college. He's helped me through every phase of life, and I've helped him move into every new apartment. Honestly, I've had a hard time writing this because there's over two decades of history between the two of us; most of that is inside jokes, "you had to be there moments," or something so silly and absurd that no one else would appreciate it. In the end, I've grown to consider JC a brother. It is truly an honor to have him as my best man.

Zoe Head

Bridesmaid

Zoe and I met second semester of college while working at our beloved Arricia de Cucina (note the sarcasm). While working under subpar managers and with questionable co-workers, we formed a deep bond, eventually deciding to be roommates for our last two years of university. Being Zoe's roommate was by far the best college roommate experience I've ever heard of. From hosting the friend group in our tiny duplex, to group sleepovers, to 8 am jam sessions, to holding each other through heartbreak and exhaustion, I gained a sister and a friendship where I least expected to find it. She is all things gentle, dedicated, and strong, and to know her is a joy.

Chris Chambers

Groomsman

I've known him since the day I was born, and can honestly say I wouldn't be here without him. He's my dad, a statement which I am proud to say. He's also been a mentor, a spiritual leader, a supporter, and the best friend I could ever ask for. Additionally, I never need to ask his opinion; he'll tell me, and I'd be a fool not to listen. I think God knew I wouldn't like asking for help, so He gave me a father who would help without asking. He taught me how to talk, how to act, how to fish, how to hunt, how to work hard, how to pray, and how to love. In short, he taught me how to be a man.

Hayley Vordenbaum

Bridesmaid

Ohhhh Hayley - If you've known my family or me for any amount of time, you know I have my Hayley. The best of friends since birth (literally), we've walked through every single season of life together. Every heartache, every big change, she's been there. She knows my darkest secrets and sticks by me anyway. Hayley and Maddie, sassy and bossy, always together, always up to something kinda weird and crazy. Hayley is true to herself, loyal, and kind. Growing up with her by my side has made everything more fun.

Emily Chambers

Best Woman

Actually my Maid of Honor, but my bride-to-be said that title would be confusing. If I had a guardian angel from birth, it would be Emily. We grew up together, lived together after college, were broke personal trainers together, and still talk to each other for far too long about far too many things. She has supported me and ridiculed me when I needed it the most in both situations. I am very proud to have her as a sister, and my best woman/maid of honor.
