Yes, you do need a visa to visit Indonesia from USA. It can be obtained ahead of time at https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/ As a last resort, you can also obtain a visa upon arrival in Indonesia.
August 30th will be a Western wedding and guest attire will be formal (black-tie optional) August 31st will be a Hindu Indian wedding and guest attire will be Indian wedding formal.

We recommend arriving between August 26th-August 29th and leaving September 1st or later. The wedding festivities will begin on August 29th with a welcome dinner, followed by the wedding on August 30th and 31st.
