We appreciate as much advance notice as possible to help us plan for everyone’s needs ahead of the wedding— however, we understand life is unpredictable and plans can change at a moment’s notice. At the latest, we anticipate needing a final guest count for our venue and vendors approximately 45 days in advance of the event (Sept. 7, 2023).
We ask that our guests dress in "Elevated Cocktail / Fall Formal" attire-- it's a wedding! "Elevated Cocktail / Formal wedding attire sits between cocktail and black tie on the wedding dress code scale. It's slightly more elevated than cocktail attire and much less dressy than a black-tie nuptial." Suits and ties, elegant dresses/gowns, sophisticated jumpsuits or pantsuits, and classy separates are all appropriate. We request that guests wear Fall seasonal colors or non-white trending neutrals, but this is simply a preference to encompass the natural beauty of Ohio's October, not a requirement. "A Fall color palette clothing is warm, rich, and earthy – think of the colors of the fall leaves, the bark of the trees, and the deep evergreens." The events will take place outdoors, so please be mindful of the weather and, for stiletto-wearers like Maddie, the grass.
Yes, free parking is available at the venue, which is the same for our ceremony and reception. It will be clear where to park via signage when you arrive.
Our ceremony is set to begin around 4:45pm, so we ask that our guests try to arrive around 4:30pm as listed on the invitation. For a better look at the day-of events, hit the "Schedule" tab on our website.
No, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children. Please plan accordingly and make childcare arrangements in advance. No exceptions will be made— this is an adults-only event.
Because we are having an intimate ceremony, our guest list is very small and limited. Unfortunately, we do not have much flexibility for additional guests at this time. However, this may change as plans are finalized closer to our date, so please feel free reach out to us if you have a guest request and we will be happy to let you know if we are able to accommodate any additional guests.
Yes, both of our dogs, Fry and Panini, will be present for the majority of the evening (under supervision, of course). The venue is outdoors. Sadly, no other dogs are allowed (as much as we love them). Please note that Panini is shy and, although she is a real princess, does not like a lot of attention. Fry is honored to accept all of the love on her behalf.
