We're getting married!

How did you meet? We met in highschool, around 2015, it was Dalton's freshman year and Maddie's sophomore year! Where and when did the proposal happen? Dalton proposed at the Litzenberg Memorial Woods outside of Findlay on May 10, 2025. What is your favorite vacation you have taken so far together? Our favorite vacation has been the trip we took out west in the fall of 2024. We stopped and tent camped in Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, and Kansas. Our last stop before home was Missouri where we went to go see a Colter Wall concert. We stopped at a few national and state parks, tent camped under one of the few natural bridges that are still around, and got to see a lot of wildlife! Do you have any pets? We have two dogs, Koda, who is a 5 year old lab-pit mix and Knox, a german shorthaired pointer who will be a year old in June. Who is the better cook? Dalton is a better cook, Maddie is the better baker. Who said 'I love you' first? Dalton did! Where and when did you first move in together? We moved in together in May of 2023 and still live in Findlay. When did you first start dating? We started dating December 20, 2019. What makes your relationship strong? We both make each other feel chosen and valued, not taken for granted. We both do little things for each other that shows we care about one another. We both have shared values, we typically agree on big stuff such as money, goals, and lifestyle. We do have some shared hobbies like hunting and camping! We are both willing to grow and support each other's growth. Underneath everything though, we remain best friends - we joke together, laugh together, can be weird together, and enjoy hanging out with each other.
