We met freshman year of high school in a way that most people did at the time- Snapchat. Colin lived in New Albany and Maddie lived in Dublin (about 40 minutes away from one another), so we had never crossed paths. After weeks of talking and getting to know each other, we discovered we had been receiving each other's Christmas cards for years, thanks to our dads being childhood friends from Worthington. In January of 2015 Colin invited Maddie to his hockey game to officially meet in person. After that, we would spend time together on the weekends and became girlfriend and boyfriend in February of 2015. We are blessed to have been together for 10+ years and experience so much life, growth and change. From dates at Chipotle and Piada (with our parents dropping us off since we didn’t have our licenses), to high school graduations, four years in Oxford, Ohio, graduating college, and moving to Chicago to experience a new city and start our lives together, we cannot wait for all the exciting things to come. We are so excited to be entering this new chapter of marriage and are looking forward to celebrating with you all!
