Due to the current covid restrictions, we have unfortunately had to limit our guest list to adhere to country standards.

For their first date, Maddie invited Caulin out to Rancho for a picnic by the river. Well this planned went downhill (literally) when she made a wrong turn on the path and they ended up off the trail, climbing down a hill through thick brush. When they eventually made it back to the trail, Maddie noticed a black mark on Caulin's leg and soon realized he had a tick on him. They ended up ditching the river and having their picnic on a pink monkey blanket at one of the lakes in Maddie's community, with no ticks in sight. Fun fact: Caulin proposed in the same spot where they had their first date!

Caulin chose to propose at the same spot they had their first date, over four years ago. He had Maddie go on a scavenger hunt throughout Rancho, prompting her with signs his sister, Lauren, hand drew. Caulin even had both of Maddie's grandparents in on the plan. Lauren was her chauffeur for the day as she drove her all around the community in a golf cart. Maddie eventually ended up at the lake where they had their first date and saw Caulin standing there with a final sign and flowers. He got down on one knee and asked Maddie to marry him! Obviously she said yes :)
