The Wedding Website of Cannon Lynch and Maddie Bailey
We know many of you have never been to Charleston before and we're so excited to share our city with you. Downtown Charleston is the heart of the city and our recommended area to stay. It's full of southern charm & history, has a vibrant food scene and sits on the water - best of all, it's extremely walkable! Having a car if staying in downtown is not necessary unless your plans call for it. That being said, there are plenty of options off the peninsula if that's more up your alley! Mount Pleasant, James Island and West Ashley all have accommodations, but please be aware that these areas are not walkable the way downtown is. Check out a variety of hotel options below! Please let us know if you have questions or need additional Hotel or Airbnb/VRBO suggestions.

Flight

Charleston International Airport

Charleston International Airport (CHS) is about 12 miles from downtown. It's easy to get an Uber/Lyft or Taxi from the airport to wherever you may be staying.
