Maid of Honor
Maddie met Paola on Buffalo Awakening, the semesterly retreat through the Catholic Center at CU. Their friendship grew over the next four years through recreating tik tok videos, sleeping in their hammocks, and, of course, eating apples with parmesan cheese and lemon garlic dressing. One of Maddie's favorite memories of Paola is when Paola knew Aidan wanted to ask Maddie out and was so nervous she'd let it slip to Maddie that they could hardly hold a real conversation. After graduation this spring, Paola is going to be a FOCUS missionary at UCLA! The betting pool is open for if Paola, the bride, or the groom will cry the most during the wedding.
Bowen Iacobbo
Best Man
Bo and Aidan quickly became friends after meeting during Aidan's junior year. Their friendship deepened this last year as Bo lived across the hall from Aidan. Bo was essentially another roommate to Aidan as he spent so much time in Aidan's apartment, where Bo contributed many quotes and hot-takes. Aidan and Bo were able to bond through many shared experiences in their own journeys back to the church, and their continual pursuit of holiness since. Bo is majoring in aerospace engineering at the University of Colorado and is expecting to graduate in the spring of 2025.
Mary Beth Tapp
Maid of Honor
Maddie also met Mary Beth when she retreated on Buffalo Awakening. Their friendship became rock solid when Mary Beth was down for an 8hr each way road trip for In and Out, despite being a vegetarian. If you ever need to navigate Anaheim, California or order bread in France, Mary Beth is the girl for you. One of Maddie's favorite moments with Mary Beth was when they almost hit a cat with a car while screaming "Can't Hold us" by Macklemore. After graduating this spring, Mary Beth is going to be a FOCUS missionary at San Diego State! Lastly, it should be noted that Maddie loves being friends with Mary Beth because it means she isn't the worst driver in the group.
Dominic Cushnie
Groomsman
Dominic and Aidan became friends after Aidan transferred to the University of Colorado. Being the same year in college, Aidan and Dominic began coming around Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center around the same time. Dominic and Aidan eventually became roommates and shared a room during their senior year. Despite being exact opposites in many respects, Dominic and Aidan balance each other well because of these differences. Dominic graduated from the University of Colorado in December of 2022 with a degree in. economics and is starting work in Austin, Texas. If you see Dom at the wedding ask him about how keeping Austin weird is going!
Ciara Shannon
Bridesmaid & Sister of the Groom
Ciara is Aidans older sister by 3 years. She and Maddie bonded quickly over their love for Taylor Swift. Maddie's favorite moment with Ciara is when she got Aidan to go back to The Church. Through Aidan re-conversion to the faith, Ciara and Aidan's relationship grew even strong and Maddie is so excited for the years to come as she always wanted a sister! Ciara currently lives in North Carolina and works for a non-profit.
Anthony Cannon
Groomsman & Brother of the Bride
Anthony is Maddie’s older brother by two years. He and Aidan met at the University of Colorado when Aidan began dating Maddie. Maddie was always grateful to have her older brother looking out for her while in college and that he could always help with her homework. Over the last couple years Anthony and Aidan have been able to grow closer in fraternity. Anthony is currently working as a chemical engineer on PBC circuit boards.
Elisa Dean
Bridesmaid
Maddie met Elisa in early high school through youth group. Maddie's first memory of Elisa is how she always had a massive bag of gummy bears on weekend retreats to the mountains. Maddie always knows if she goes over to the Dean's house there will inevitably be a party in their driveway, where she will accidentally stay for hours longer than she planned. Elisa graduated this spring in voice and piano performance while also playing D2 soccer for all five years for Metro State University. When you meet Elisa at the wedding, be sure to ask her about the super short and easy hike Maddie made her go on when they were freshman in college.
Matthew Cannon
Groomsman & Brother of the Bride
Matthew is Maddie’s little brother by two years. When they were kids Maddie and Matthew would always be found riding their bikes to get frozen yogurt or fast food together. Matthew has been very welcoming of Aidan and they bonded quickly over their high school math grades. In his free time Matthew loves to go to concerts, festivals, raves, anything with loud music. Matthew is enlisted in the Air Force where is is stationed in Florida.
Jayden Jones
Bridesmaid
Maddie met Jayden in early high school through their youth group. Maddie was obsessed with Jayden long hair and amazing writing skills. Jayden is always down for an adventure, if that is sledding down St Mary's Glacier, running down to the front of general admission at Red Rocks or even a late night swimming trip. Jayden has always had the talent of speaking truth into Maddie's life even when Maddie is not ready to hear it. One of Maddie's favorite memories with Jayden was explore hotel amenities at Elisa's birthday party. Jayden is now a full time missionary for Creatio showing off Gods glory in the great outdoors.
Brady Wiesner
Groomsman
Brady is Aidan's longest friend. Brady and Aidan grew up dancing together which led them to travel the world together. Since retiring from dance, Brady and Aidan have remained great friends. They continue to travel (less frequently) and explore the world together. Brady and Aidan have spent many phases of life together growing up from the time Aidan was 10 and Brady was 13, until now. Brady is a high school english teacher in Colorado Springs. If you see Brady at the wedding ask him about his favorite place he has been!
Maria Sotomayor
Bridesmaid
Maddie and Maria have been roommates this last year in Maryland! Together they like to go for walks to the store to get cheap wine. One of Maddie's favorite memories with Maria is whenever they get talking in their kitchen they both subconsciously always start cleaning. Maria's friendship this year out east has been such a blessing in Maddie's life as they've both been able to navigate wedding planning/engagement together as Maria is getting married this summer!
Hunter Kear
Groomsman
Hunter is another one of Aidan's oldest friends. Hunter and Aidan went to middle school and high school together. They became close after Aidan got Hunter a detention in middle school during a game of tag in home room (Aidan was not caught and Hunter's mom thought it was funny). Hunter and Aidan played lacrosse together in high school and took many classes together and see each other whenever Hunter is back in Colorado. Hunter is a finance student at Louisiana State University graduating in May of 2024.
Isabel Vega
Bridesmaid
Isabel and Maddie met through their beloved coffee shop, Drogos at CU. Having accidentally planned overlapping trips to Europe, Maddie got to know the amazing joys and deep faith of Isabel's heart. Not to mention her hospitality in letting Mary Beth and Maddie sleep in her study abroad tiny apartment that was not big enough for three people in the slightest. Maddie's favorite memory is Isabel is when she looked up churches in Sienna and navigated the group to the wrong church. Isabel will be a senior at CU boulder this fall studying Business!
Brendon Himes
Groomsman
Brendon and Aidan met at college at Drogo's Coffee Bar, where both Aidan and Maddie worked in college. Brendon and Aidan have grown close throughout their time in university through deep talks at Doug's Diner and over smoking cigars on Aidans balcony. Brendon is graduating in May of 2024 from the University of Colorado with a degree in integrated physiology (essentially pre-med). Brendon hopes to go on to get his MD after his undergraduate degree.
Grace Vondra
Bridesmaid
Maddie met Grace during Graces freshman year at CU boulder, and proceeded to bully her every week to come to her bible study. Being an engineering major and in ROTC, Grace was busy enough but would still make time to join, always bringing a crazy story with her - like how she singed her hair in a class rocket launch. As their friendship has grown Maddie has been able to witness the tremendous gift of watching Grace fall in love with Christ.
Thomas Glawe

Thomas is another of Aidan's roommates from his senior year. Thomas and Aidan became close while living together. Along with their other roommates and friends they spent many nights together up late talking about faith and about life. Thomas is a student at the University of Colorado and is graduating in May 2024 with a degree in architectural engineering.
