Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Maddie SeGuin and Aaron Jones
If you arrive early and want to make a weekend out of it, check out some of our favorite things to do in the area!

City of Rochester Public Market and Railroad Street

280 Union Street North, Rochester, NY 14609
, (585) 428-6907

Looking for something fun to do on Saturday? Check out our regional market for some local food, buy some produce to take home, listen to some music. After you explore the market, head over to Railroad Street (the street that leads you to the Public Market) to keep the fun going. Some of our favorites on Railroad Street (all are family friendly): • Rohrbach Brewery: AMAZING beers (the Blueberry Ale is one of our favorites), and a really good light food menu including brick oven pizzas, big pretzels, and other fun specials! • Black Button Distillery: The BEST craft cocktails. They don't serve food but it's worth stopping by to grab what will soon be your favorite new cocktail, and sit outside people watching! Fun Fact: Maddie's company owns Black Button :) • Bitter Honey: Get the fiesta started early with a delicious margarita, order of tacos, and some killer chips and salsa!

Our Favorite Local Breweries

Love a good brewery? We have some AWESOME breweries in Rochester that you should check out! Some of our favorites: • K2 Brewery (their specialty is sours, wouldn't recommend if you aren't a huge sour fans - Maddie loves them!) • Three Brothers Brewery (a true staple in Rochester, Aaron loves the IPA's and Maddie's favorites are the Strawberry Fields Lager or the Honey Lager!) ***If hungry for lunch, check out Old Pueblo which is right across the street, delicious Mexican food, or Gate House which is right around the corner for sandwiches, soups, and salads*** • Iron Tug Brewery (a smaller brewery but their wines are SO good. they have a unique beer list but we have never tried one that we didn't like! the blueberry cobbler sour is a must. ***If hungry for lunch, Roam Cafe or Magnolias are both great and right nearby. Sandwiches, soups and salads!*** • Nine Maidens Brewery (they have a small rotating draft list and similar to Iron Tug, we have never had one that we didn't like!)

Finger Lakes Wine Country

On your way to Rochester, make a pit stop off the thruway in the infamous Finger Lakes Wine Country! Try some delicious wines and enjoy some gorgeous views... you won't regret it! Hop off exit 42 on the Thruway (on your way if coming from the east, or a quick 40 minute drive from your hotel if coming in on Friday)... and welcome to wine country! If you only have a couple of hours, we recommend you check out Northern Seneca Lake due to it's proximity to the Thruway. Our favorites in this area are Ventosa Vineyards, Zugibe Vineyards, Bottomless Brewery, and of course Three Brothers Winery!

Genesee Brew House

25 Cataract Street, Rochester, NY 14605
, (585) 263-9200

A Rochester, NY staple! Grab a beer and enjoy gorgeous views of the city and the Genesee River.

Eastview Mall

7979 Pittsford Victor Road, Victor, NY 14564
, (585) 223-4420

Want to do some retail therapy before the wedding? Eastview Mall is a beautiful mall with great shops and restaurants!
