Things To Do

Explore Wilmington during this holiday weekend!

Jack A. Markell Trail

Jack A. Markell Trail, New Castle, DE

A fun scenic wetlands trail right on the Riverfront with nature center. Good for walking or biking. Also on the trail is a beer garden with axe throwing as well as mini golf.

Delaware Art Museum

2301 Kentmere Parkway, Wilmington, DE 19806
, (302) 571-9590

Great museum in the beautiful Rockford Park area of Wilmington

Dew Point Brewing Company

2878 Creek Road, Yorklyn, DE 19736
, (302) 235-8429

Brewery a little drive away. Really cool location to spend a couple hours. Usually has a food truck.

Alapocas Run State Park

1914 Park Drive, Wilmington, DE 19803
, (302) 577-1164

One of our favorite hiking trails

Wilmington Brew Works

3129 Miller Road, Wilmington, DE 19802
, (302) 722-4828

Another favorite brewery of ours.

Jessop's Tavern

114 Delaware Street, New Castle, DE 19720
, (302) 322-6111

Located in Old New Castle, an adorable colonial town about a 15 minute drive from Wilmington. This restaurant runs as though it's still an old tavern, with the staff dressing up and everything. Even if you don’t eat here, walking around the town and along the water is a great time.

UDairy Creamery

535 South College Avenue, Newark, DE 19716
, (302) 831-2486

Our favorite ice cream on the campus of University Delaware in Newark

For all the days along the way
