Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
This family-friendly zoo has a variety of animals and beautiful mountain views. It has interactive exhibits and animal encounters. Prices: Around $20-$25 for adults $14-$19 for children (3-11) free for children under 2 Hours: Daily 9AM-5PM
Ghost Town Museum

Haunted Lantern Tour
If you're like Maddie, and you have a certain draw towards the paranormal, you'd love this haunted lantern tour! It's a 90-minute candlelight tour of the Manitou Grand Caverns. You'll learn about the history of the Cave of the Winds, and also experience a fair share of frightening ghost stories and hear about the unexplained phenomena of the Manitou Grands. (They do also offer daytime tours if you're interested in a normal cave tour!) Prices: $34 for people 13+ $24 for people 8-12 No one younger than 8 is allowed
