'Tis the Season to Be Married

While we initially met back in 2017 while taking music education classes at UWEC, we first started really talking and getting to know each other during Cabaret Tech Week in 2020. Maddie had asked some friends to help set her up, they suggested Connor, and it all kind of snowballed from there! We started going on dates after Cabaret, became an official couple on Pi Day (3/14), and haven't looked back since.

Connor had made plans with three of our friends to take pictures at Carson Park where we had our first date. Emily couldn't make it from La Crosse because there was a huge snowstorm the night before, but Leah and Gabby helped Connor pull off the best surprise of Maddie's life. After lunch at Altoona Family Restaurant (one of our local favorites), we went to Carson Park. Under the ruse of getting pictures for Maddie's family's holiday card, Gabby and Leah captured the proposal on photo [AND] video.
