For the welcome party: Casual and denim optional (you know that's what Paul will be wearing). For the ceremony and reception: Cocktail attire, so this includes suits, dressier jumpsuits, or dresses of any length. If you need further guidance, we think this is a helpful guide: https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire For the Sunday picnic: Casual, we'll be hanging out in the park.
We have shuttle buses leaving from the Westin Portland Harborview at 3:00 p.m. sharp. If you don't ride the bus you will need your own transportation to the venue. Please keep in mind that Ubers and other ride share options may be harder to get in Gray, ME. There is also plenty of parking at the venue. The ceremony will begin at exactly 4:00 p.m. Please do not arrive late.
We ask that you leave your kids at home unless we have spoken with you specifically and your child is identified on the invitation.
Please RSVP by May 29, 2026 through the RSVP form on our website. We ask that you kindly respond as soon as possible so we can finalize our headcount! If you respond "Yes" but later determine that you cannot attend, please contact one of us immediately to let us know.
If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as a "no." We will miss celebrating with you but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time frame they have given us.
Only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!
We ask that you do not take photos during the ceremony. Please silence your phones and keep them in your pockets/bags until cocktail hour. We want everyone to enjoy the moment as it's happening and our professional photographer will be capturing the ceremony!
Yes! The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be under a sailcloth tent with dancing in the old barn. We have plans in case of rain and fans will be provided for warm temperatures.
Louise may grace us with her presence during the cocktail hour.
