Shuttle from Florence to the venue

We will have a shuttle from a spot close to our recommended hotels in Florence (spot still being decided) around 3pm on the day of our wedding. We will also have a shuttle going back to Florence at the end of the night. If you are renting a car, there is plenty of parking at the venue!

Airports
Florence Airport: Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR) If you decide to fly into Florence, the Florence Airport is the closest and most convenient option. It’s a quick drive to the city center, and transportation is easy with taxis, rideshares, and rental cars available right outside the terminal. We recommend flying into FLR if you want the smoothest travel experience before the celebrations begin! Rome Airport: Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) Rome Fiumicino is a great option if you’re planning to explore more of Italy before or after the wedding. It offers a wide range of international flights, and you can easily reach Florence by high-speed train in about 1.5 hours. It’s a convenient choice if you want flexibility in travel or non-stop flight options. Milan Airport: Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) Milan Malpensa is another good option. It’s well-connected with major airlines, and you can reach Florence by high-speed train in about 2 hours. If you’re planning to explore northern Italy or prefer more flight availability, MXP is a convenient choice before making your way to the wedding festivities.

Florence Train Station
Italy’s high-speed trains are an easy and comfortable way to travel between major cities. Florence’s main station, Santa Maria Novella (SMN), is right in the city center and very close to our recommended hotels! You can book tickets directly through Italy’s two main train operators: Trenitalia and Italo. Both offer reserved seating, multiple class options, and easy mobile tickets for a smooth trip to Florence!

Whether that’s another hotel, a boutique stay, or an Airbnb. We want you to choose the option that works best for your travel style and budget. For convenience, our wedding shuttle pickup and drop-off will be in the area of Santa Maria Novella, which is also near the main train station. It’s a very central and walkable neighborhood and is perfect for exploring Florence’s historic sites, shopping, and restaurants. We highly recommend looking in this area when booking your accommodations. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
