That’s what Anthony thought to himself when he first met his neighbor’s dog, Daisy. Fresh off a bad breakup, he posted a picture of Daisy on Instagram, declaring her as his new therapist. Little did he know that one day Daisy’s Mom would become his future wife, let alone his girlfriend. Ashleigh and Anthony later started their love story in an unexpected way as two unlucky in love neighbors living at a townhome complex in Arcadia Lite. They had known each other but hadn’t spent much time together. After a day out with their other neighbors to a drag brunch downtown, Anthony mixed Ashleigh some of his famous cocktails. They connected on their careers, love of music, travel, family lives and mutual hatred of the dating game. After a little liquid courage, Anthony took a chance and asked Ashleigh out, promising he wouldn’t make things awkward around the neighborhood no matter her answer. One Cubs Spring Training game date and a trip to Coachella started their love story officially. Since then, they’ve traveled, grown in their careers, attended countless concerts and sporting events, and even bought a home for Daisy in Tempe, AZ. Two relationship pessimists, once ready to give up on love, found home in each other.
