Maid of Honor
Erin is Hannah's younger sister, but not by much. Erin actually used to be commonly mistaken as the eldest due to her outgoing personality. Only a year and a half apart, they grew up knowing each other's friends and sharing clothes (usually Hannah borrowing from Erin). Their room as children had a bunk-bed and they used to talk about being roommates as adults too. Fulfilling that wish, Erin lived with Hannah and Eric in Chicago before the pandemic. Erin moved back to Michigan to attend medical school and the whole family is extremely proud of her graduating this spring!
Officiant
Kristen is Eric’s older sister by seven years. Like many siblings, they had their fair share of arguments as kids, but as they got older, their relationship grew into a close friendship. When Eric was in high school, he turned to Kristen for advice for all aspects of his life including school, dating, friendships, and fashion. Growing up in the same household, they shared the same interests like their love of New York sports teams and their passion for food and travel. Kristen has introduced Eric and Hannah to some of the best restaurants and coolest spots in New York City, and her extensive travels has also given them an unmatched wealth of recommendations for adventures across the globe. Besides the already mentioned talents and expertise, Kristen makes public speaking look effortless and Eric and Hannah are very excited to have her play a special role in their ceremony.
Maid of Honor
Sarah is Hannah’s youngest sister, but a four year age gap did not stop them from playing together when they were kids. Their parents typically let Sarah do anything her older sisters were doing, such as getting to watch the coveted PG-13 movies at a much younger age. Sarah followed along in her older sisters' footsteps and attended the same charter high school and then the University of Michigan. She always had a creative flair and imagination, but originally went down a path in marketing. Now, Sarah is pursuing her dream of becoming an art teacher and is about to start grad school in Colorado.
Best Man
Eric met Tom, the best man, in an afterschool program in grade school and they have since become more brothers than close childhood friends. As two “big boned” kids, they bonded over their favorite meals and snacks - with Tom often finding reasons to “accidentally” stay late for dinner at the Kuan household. Their friendship evolved through high school as they pursued common interests together in hockey and guitar, enrolling in the same summer camps, and both attending the University of Michigan. Aside from Eric’s two year stint living in Chicago with Hannah, the two have lived in the same cities since they were seven. Nowadays, you’ll often find them unintentionally (and sometimes intentionally) matching outfits, and still living 1 mile away from each other in the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
Bridesmaid
Gaby and Hannah also lived in the same dorm freshman year and were roommates senior year. They became library study buddies and motivated each other to make it to the gym. Gaby has many strengths, but her abilities as a planner and organizer are unmatched! The college friends have gone on several trips organized by Gaby. She planned an amazing adventure-filled weekend in Colorado for Hannah's bachelorette.
Groomsman
Andrew was one of the first people Eric met on the first day of college as hallmates at Michigan’s famous Markley Hall. They quickly made dinner plans together, going off-campus to a local Indian restaurant and bonding over a love of chicken tikka masala. After that dinner, they became close friends over the course of the year and went on to become roommates for the remainder of college (and later in New York City). Through college, they went on several international trips together ranging from Mexico to Thailand. Eric also credits Andrew for helping him make the introduction to Hannah on the night they met.
Bridesmaid
Katie and Hannah met during summer orientation and were roommates later on in college and in Chicago. Their first hangout involved a trip to Urban Outfitters where Katie told Hannah she had to buy the dress. Since then, Katie has always been 100% supportive of Hannah. She even assisted in Hannah and Eric's early interactions acting as a matchmaker.
Groomsman
Greg and Eric met in 4th grade when they were in the same homeroom class, bonding over their love for baseball as staunch Yankee fans. Greg and Eric spent years playing baseball together from little league to JV, shared countless classes, and Eric credits Greg with teaching him about fitness and how to lift weights. They both enjoy watching Yankee games and working out together to this day.
Bridesmaid
Lauren lived right across the hall from Hannah freshman year of college, and they have been friends ever since! They had lots of fun going to Michigan football games and having game nights with their other roommates. Lauren moved back to LA after college, but even being on 2 opposite coasts they still reunite at least once a year.
Groomsman
Eric met Michael Cotumaccio (affectionately called “Cot” by his friends) while playing on the same fifth grade little league team. They became fast friends with Cot’s sense of humor and his big personality. Attending Middle School and High School together, Michael and Eric became close friends after various school projects and through their shared interests in paintballing and cooking. Today, Cot remains Eric’s go-to foodie friend and the first half of the fashionista duo with one of Eric’s other Groomsmen, Michael “Kokkinos”.
Bridesmaid
Michelle and Hannah met freshman year of college and later on became roommates. They bonded over a shared adventurous spirit and had many fun travels together post-college. Hannah was a bridesmaid in Michelle's wedding two summers ago, and she and her husband Ariel recently welcomed their first baby boy. If you are lucky you may meet the little cutie at the wedding!
Groomsman
Michael K (“Kokkinos”) is Eric’s oldest friend, meeting in preschool at the ripe old age of three. They became so inseparable, that Eric cried when he wasn’t able to find Michael during a game of hide-and-seek. Over the years, Eric and Kokkinos have shared countless memories from life events to general mischief. Michael’s keen sense of fashion has helped Eric throughout their friendship and was the guiding opinion on Eric’s wedding tux.
