First off, GO BIG RED...second, Madison's family is from Okoboji and it has a special place in her heart. Also, Okoboji is a true midwestern gem if you have never been - you will be impressed!
YESSS! There isn't much to do in the midwest, so visitors book a full year in advance to come to the Iowa lakes. We STRONGLY encourage you to book your stay ASAP.
Refer to the Travel page for more airport info. Still plan on a 2-3 hour drive, regardless of where you fly into. It can be a toss-up between Omaha, Sioux City, or Minneapolis. Most have better luck with Minneapolis since there are more options for arrival times.
Formal transportation is not provided. The room block we have setup is for hotel options directly connected to, or a < 5-minute walk from, where the ceremony/reception/brunch will be held. All other recommended lodging locations are within a 10-minute drive; Uber and taxis are available in Okoboji.
