We're Getting Married!

Our love story started all the way back in 2013 when I was just 12 years old. I was going into 7th grade and Logan was going into 9th grade. He got roped into giving the new 7th graders a tour of the junior high and that is where I saw Logan for the first time. I was instantly in love. He was the cutest boy I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I spent the rest of junior high writing in my planner “Mrs. Maddie Barsch” and of course Logan had no idea. Fast forward to 2018 and Logan hit me with the smooth line of “I have two questions for you: 1. Can you cook chicken as good as your dad? 2. If so are you trying to get married real quick”. And the rest was history. We immediately hit it off and have been inseparable ever since. I truly manifested this one. - XOXO Future Mrs. Barsch

On November 26, 2024 Logan planned a wonderful date day for me. I had just gotten 12 inches of my hair cut off and a new outfit (all of which Logan paid for but it was my idea so I wasn't suspicious). We started off the day by going to Amish country. We explored around and saw the world's largest cuckoo clock there then went to the largest year round Christmas store. After that we had a lovely dinner on the water at the Tappen Lake marina. I wanted a nice selfie of us because we got all dressed up for our date but it just wasn't turning out right (totally on me). Logan suggested that we take a full body picture when we get home because I have my new outfit. I thought it sounded like a great idea! We get back to our house and I start setting up the scenery for our picture. I wanted a picture in front of the buckeye tree that his grandfather planted because my favorite thing to do is pick buckeyes there and we always have it decorated nicely for fall. So I'm setting up all of the straw bales and pumpkins making it look nice and Logan snuck our fall sign that says "The Barschs". I decided to set up the camera and record a video so we can move around and pose then I would take screenshots of the video for our pictures. So we are posing for pictures and all of a sudden Logan gets on one knee and asks me to marry him. I have never been more surprised in my entire life because in my head this was all my idea!
