Our Story

We talked for a couple of months, and our relationship started out a little rough—both of us too stubborn to admit how we really felt. But then Ethan finally asked me out… and asked me to move to Texas. Saying yes meant sacrificing a lot for our love, but deep down I knew that if Ethan could love me even half as much as he loves and cherishes his mom, I’d be a lucky girl. And I truly am the luckiest. Once I moved to Texas, everything fell into place. We instantly fell head over heels for each other. A year and a half after dating, Ethan proposed, and of course I said yes! After the proposal, we both agreed that we wanted to try for a baby. Those months were some of the hardest—we wanted it so badly, and when nothing was working, it was heartbreaking. We felt defeated, stressed, and sad, but we held onto each other. By December 2024, we decided to focus on wedding planning and trust that whatever was meant to happen would happen. And then, at the end of January, we got the best news of our lives: I was pregnant. From that moment, everything changed. Our love grew deeper than either of us could have imagined. Colsen Daniel arrived on September 19th and instantly changed our world. The NICU days were hard, but they brought us closer and showed us just how much love we’re capable of. Bringing him home was the happiest moment of our lives. Now we wake up every day grateful — for each other, for our son, and for the family we’ve become.
