During the first summer of the pandemic, we were both a bit stir-crazy and looking for some companionship. We matched on Tinder and had our first date in Riverside Park; it lasted 10 hours! Needless to say, the attraction was there, but Mady was set to move to Boston just three days later. Despite an initial long-distance courtship that entailed Dana commuting three hours to Boston every other weekend, we were inseparable when together and in love by October of the same year. Thanks to widespread restaurant and bar closures due to Covid, the early days of our relationship were spent without distraction and we were able to forge a connection that usually takes years to create. Therefore, it is no surprise we were ready for an engagement 18 months later. Dana proposed on the streets of Paris, after dismounting an electric Razor scooter.
