Our first ever photo together!

3 weeks into dating Cheston invited me to Carlie - his sister's - wedding...needless to say we did not take it slow.

It didn't take long for the first boat ride on the Conchi!

Our first trip where we played endless games, sat by the fire, and laughed with friends.

A day filled with fear of Cheston's apple allergy, but more importantly when we both realized it was love (it was several weeks before it was said out loud - credit to Cheston for saying it first).

A McGuire Thanksgiving and Maddie's first trip to Chattanooga! Not pictured: the dog poop Maddie slipped in and the two bottles of nail polish Maddie broke all over the bathroom Thanksgiving morning.

Chattanooga holds such a special place now in both of our hearts.

The holidays were spent sharing with each other our respective family's traditions, mostly eating. Oh and Cheston watched White Christmas in it's entirety...twice during the holiday season.

Speaking of food...our favorite hobby is cooking together! Pizza is our speciality - but you can find us any day of the week trying new recipes!

Our first Valentine's together was spent drinking a lot of Virginia wine.

To continue the trend of VA beverages, our story would not be complete without mentioning Aslin. If you don't believe me, just take a look in our fridge to see the countless Aslin cans on display.

Taylor's birthday celebration rivals our own. She is the best pup and deserves nothing less. We love to spoil her with toys, treats, and playing at the park!

Cheston (Army Navy champion) waited patiently to get me out on the golf course.

Our first ever sporting event!

The magic of a beautiful Michigan summer night (with bellies full of Jets pizza, obviously).

For our one year anniversary we recreated our first date - it was romantic and perfect.

Wilmington, NC for Maddie's birthday!

A beautiful wedding celebration made even sweeter by Cheston saying "I can't wait until it's us up there."

We moved into our first home together! And of course celebrated with a BBQ.

We were finally able to cross taking a water taxi to a baseball game off our bucket list!

THE PROPOSAL! There were self imposed (by Maddie) time crunches and ill timed garbage trucks, but it ended with Cheston down on one knee and a love letter with the ring - it's a story for the books.

And then we got to spend the entire day surrounded by family drinking wine and celebrating! We are so lucky to have such incredible families.

The beginning of our wedding planning process - our first venue tour! It has been such a special time and we cannot wait until September 30!

A wonderful week spent with family in Costa Rice - memories that will last a lifetime!

Our first Christmas in our home together!

We were so nervous for our engagement photos but it ended up being such a fun day! We walked around to all our favorite spots in our city, like the bench we got engaged on!

Ringing in 2022 - counting our blessings. The best is yet to come!
