Question

How should I get there?

Answer

For our local guests, your personal vehicle is fine! For our out-of-town guests, we recommend flying in through Austin or San Antonio and renting a vehicle over to the venue! It’s about a 45 minute drive from Austin and an hour drive from San Antonio. Cheaper tickets may be found through Houston airports with about a 3 hour drive to the venue. We hope you enjoy the views of the Hill Country along the way!

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are multiple options of Airbnbs and hotels listed in the Travel tab on our site to accommodate for your plans while staying here! Due to the number of people we have heard from who are not planning on staying in hotels, room blocks have not been reserved.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are indoors at the same property! It is called the Morgan Creek Barn: 700 Farrell Ln Dripping Springs, TX 78620 Follow this road all the way to the end and enter through the ranch gate on the right! You may park directly ahead or immediately to the left as soon as you enter.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue between 4:00 pm and 4:45 pm. There will be games and the chance to mingle prior to the ceremony, which starts at 5:00 pm and will be in the barn on the right!

Can I bring my kid(s)?

Answer

We would absolutely love for your kid(s) to join us in this special moment of our lives! Be sure to add their names when submitting your RSVP if you want them to have a seat and a meal!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

When submitting your RSVP, there may be an option to add your plus one! It will appear as a “Child” or “Guest” with an Unknown Name for those who have plus ones. Feel free to ask us questions if you are unsure whether or not you have a plus one!

What is the dress code?

Answer

No dress code is required, but we are going for a country-style attire! Gentlemen, jeans and cowboy boots are welcomed with a formal shirt! Ladies, cowgirl boots are also welcomed! We just ask that no hats are allowed during the ceremony.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Texas in September ranges from low 80’s to high 90’s. Keep in mind the ceremony and reception are indoors, but there is a patio if you’d like to hang outside!

Is there free parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! When you enter through the ranch gate, you may park directly ahead of you or immediately to the left.

Where should I sit during the ceremony?

Answer

Please feel free to sit anywhere! We just ask that you reserve the first row for our immediate family members.

Can I take pictures/videos?

Answer

Yes, of course you may take pictures and videos! We will give everyone an opportunity to take pictures of us during the ceremony and then we will ask that everyone put their phones away so our photographer can get some shots in!

How do I know where to sit at the reception?

Answer

We will have a guest seating chart displayed somewhere for everyone’s convenience! We will update this as we get closer to the wedding day. Feel free to find your table and you may sit in any seat!

When will we eat?

Answer

After the ceremony, everyone can head on over to the reception barn for Cocktail Hour around 5:30 pm. Once all guests have found their seat in the reception barn, we will introduce the Wedding Party around 6:30 pm and give a quick speech of appreciation. Then the buffet will open immediately after!

What is on the menu?

Answer

For Cocktail Hour, we are having chips, queso, creamy jalapeño dip, and salsa! For dinner, we are going to have a Tex-Mex-style buffet! From tacos to burritos, grilled fajitas, or even vegetarian options! And for dessert… churros!!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We have a cash bar set up opening at cocktail hour so guests may order their own alcoholic or soda beverages! No outside alcohol is allowed.

What if I have a dietary requirement?

Answer

Please let us know of any dietary requirements or restrictions when filling out your RSVP!

What time should I leave the reception?

Answer

We will have a send off for us at 9:30 pm! Please exit the property by 10:00 pm so our clean-up crew can start breaking everything down.

Can I leave my vehicle at the venue overnight?

Answer

Unfortunately, you cannot leave your parked vehicle at the venue overnight. If you plan on heading out after the reception and know you are unable to drive, please carpool and be safe!

Where can I find photos/videos after the wedding?

Answer

We will set up a QR code on each table and send everyone a text of the website link to go to! This way everyone can upload their pictures/videos to a singular site. If you forgot to take a picture/video, someone else probably got you covered!

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

While your presence is a gift enough, we ask that you head over to the Registry tab on our site!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Once we have sent out formal invitations, head over to the RSVP tab on our site and fill out the questionnaire or select the RSVP button at the bottom of the page on the Home tab to do the same!

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that everyone send in their RSVP’s by Friday, August 1, 2025! You can do so by going to the RSVP tab on our site once uploaded, searching your name, and filling out the questionnaire accordingly!

Can I edit my RSVP after I’ve submitted it?

Answer

Yes! You can change the status of your RSVP as well as the attendance of those within your family and other plus ones for those who have that latter option. If need be, make sure to update your RSVP before August 1st!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! We know that our destination may be out of the way for some guests, so we understand. Please make sure to RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly!
