Bride

Madalina and Nick met in 2015 swing dancing and have been together ever since. They share a love for travel, movies, tea, camping, kayaking, hammocking, crafting, The Renaissance Festival and, of course, swing dancing. Madalina also enjoys photography, reading, fiber art, gardening and theatre. Madalina is a 2020 graduate of the University of MN Duluth where she earned a BA in Graphic Design with a studio focus. She is the owner and artist of Mada Mehndi LLC.

Nick is a 2018 graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Technology and a minor in Math. Nick and Madalina enjoy traveling, camping, kayaking, hammocking, tea, movies, crafting, cosplay, The Renaissance Festival, and of course, swing dancing. Nick also enjoys downhill skiing, programming, making then painting objects from his 3D printer and gaming with friends.

Jill and Madalina met at Southwest Super Summer Program when Madalina was a camper and Jill was her pottery teacher. Both are now educators and working artists. Together, they enjoy sewing and making pottery with an occasional tea party thrown in.

Amy and Madalina met in 2012 as campers at Herzl Camp. As lovers of the great outdoors, in 2013, they did a Teva Trek and hiked, camped and canoed through parts of North Dakota and Montana following the Lewis’s and Clark Trail along the mountains of the Missouri River. They are both graduates of the University of MN Duluth.

Audrey and Madalina met in 2013 at Perpich Center for Arts Education. Later they would spend three years as roommates at the University of MN Duluth. They share a love for tea, the same china pattern, alpacas, the fine arts and singing to Madalina’s beloved pet fish.

Molly and Madalina have been friends since they were 2 1/2 years old. Growing up, they shared a love for gymnastics, art, flowers and so much more. Different schools, different colleges and different states, they still find time to see one another whenever possible.

Rachel and Madalina met in 4th grade at the same elementary school. On the playground, they bonded while building fairy houses together. They share a huge amount in common, particularly their love of plants, textiles, butterflies and boings.

Rivka and Madalina met in the first couple years of elementary school and have been close ever sense. They both enjoy photography, tulips, theatre, booping and speaking ASL together.

Izzy and Madalina became friends at Perpich Center for Arts Education. They share a love for acting, singing, theatre and swing dancing. Together, they have shared many experiences as cast and crew for several theatre productions, including Oliver and Music Man.
