Our Story
It all started with a trip to Seattle! Both of us were part of a beautiful campus ministry called FOCUS. We had each been part of this community for about a year when we were invited to a conference in Bellingham, Washington. And on the first day, a few of us took a ferry to Bainbridge Island. We explored the charming little town and eventually decided to grab lunch at a French café. That’s where it all began, a mutual friend introduced us and we ended up sitting next to each other. We clicked instantly, talking throughout the trip. By the last day, we found ourselves walking by a river, and Gordon asked Madai out for coffee once we were back in Dallas. She said yes! That summer was filled with wonderful dates, and soon after, we officially became a couple.
Since then, we’ve walked side by side, with God guiding our journey and our incredible friends and family supporting us. Now, we’re so excited to take the next step and celebrate this new chapter with all of you!
