Question

How do we communicate directly with the bride, groom, and other guests while in Jamaica? How do we communicate directly with the bride, groom, and other guests while in Jamaica?

Answer

The best way to stay in touch is to download the WhatsApp app to your device and join the "Watson Love Affair" group chat. Here we will communicate in real time any updates or need to know info. You can also call, video chat, or text Veronica directly @ 770-634-1917 via WhatsApp. Don't even bother trying to contact Larron. His phone is off before we hit the Atlanta airport. :)

Question

What should I expect the weather in Jamaica to be?What should I expect the weather in Jamaica to be?

Answer

Jamaica in October is very similar to our late spring/early fall here in the states. Expect temperatures of 84-89 degrees with an island breeze. Perfect weather for an outdoor celebration of love. October is Jamaica's rainiest month. There may be sporadic rain showers but they are very brief and the sun always shines right after, turning the gray skies blue.

Question

What should I wear?What should I wear?

Answer

We have opted for themed nights so everyone knows The Watson Crew is together celebrating our love. Please honor the following dress code: Thursday - The Welcome Party: 50 shades of Brown! We want to take some time to great everyone and spend some time for the wedding day. Be as formal or casual as you like for this event. Friday - The Ceremony!! The scene should be green. You can accent with black and/or gold. You should have a color swatch in your invitation for reference. **Note: Our wedding is semi-formal. We encourage you wear cocktail attire. Think cocktail dress or summer evening gown for the ladies. Consider a suit and tie or sports coat and slacks for gentleman. ***Ladies, the bride kindly requests that you PLEASE refrain from wearing white or pale colors that may appear white in photos to any of the scheduled wedding events. Saturday: The Yacht Party - All black swimwear please! Saturday: The Family Dinner - It's your time to shine in all white! Show up and show out! Be as formal or casual as you'd like.

Question

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Question

Answer

We know how exciting it is to experience the magic of love. It is natural for many of you to want to capture the moment on your personal devices. Please note that our wedding will be unplugged. This means that we kindly ask that you refrain from using your cellphones for photos or videos before or during the ceremony. Our photographer and videographer are prepared to capture all of the important moments and we'll gladly share them with you once we've gotten our album back. We do, however, encourage you to flick it up at the reception and afterparty! Worry not! There will be a couple of moments throughout the ceremony where the officiant will allow you to snap a pic or two. Please be respectful and wait for those moments to be announced. The unplugged ceremony will be strictly enforced. Those who choose not to comply with our request will be kindly asked to leave the ceremony.
