We will be having a church ceremony, so formal attire is requested. Traditional Ukrainian attire is welcome. Most of all, be comfortable, we want you to enjoy yourselves at our celebration!
We get this question all the time, and always followed by "Oh a Halloween wedding!" While we have nothing against Halloween, October 30th has much more significance to us. We decided on our date as an homage to Danylo's grandparents, Mr. Ilia and the late Mrs. Maria Shevchuk. Their anniversary is this date, 61 years ago! We adore and look up to the long & happy marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Shevchuk, so we wanted to honor their influence on our nuptials!
Yes, at the reception. We politely ask that no cameras or camera phones be used during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture the moment, and we promise to share the photos with everyone later.
Unfortunately space is limited, and while we tried to include as many as possible, we can only accommodate those that were listed on the invitation.
There is plenty of on street parking surrounding the church, and the reception venue has a large lot for parking.
The ceremony will start promptly at 3:00pm. Please try your best to be at least 15 minutes early.
