What time should I arrive?

Answer

Traffic can be unpredictable in the Portland area, due to this we ask that guest arrive at the earliest 2:30 pm and at 3:15 pm at the very latest. to ensure everyone has their seat before the start of the ceremony

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and personal cameras during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means that we kindly ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off- during the ceremony. Why? Well, we have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture some of the most important moments and we would hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for them to capture. At the reception, feel free to take as many photos as you would like!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on the Invitation unless okayed by the Bride and Groom.

Can I bring my Kiddos?

Answer

We will have a kid's table set up with activities for the kiddos! We just ask that you let the bride and groom know if you plan on bringing them!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We have chosen a beautiful outdoor venue that can be very shady. This is where the ceremony and the reception are to be held.

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! We want you to be comfortable, but we also requesting a semi-formal dress code for the evening. Please no white clothing or jeans.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

Our reception will be taking place in a grassy, gravelly area, so please keep this in mind when choosing footwear. The ceremony is also in a tree-grove, so keep that in mind as well.

Where can I park?

Answer

The venue will have parking close to the ceremony. Please follow signs that say #LetsGetBerndt" or "Berndt Wedding" to find the correct lot.
