The countdown to forever is on!

Dear family and friends, We hope you and yours are healthy and safe during this time, and we appreciate all the love and support we’ve received from each of you. Although the COVID-19 crisis has created much uncertainty, as of now, we will be proceeding with our wedding on January 7, 2022. We have decided to limit our guest count for our ceremony, as the State of Hawaii is prohibiting beach weddings and hope that guidelines will allow for our celebrations at Haiku Gardens. We understand that the situation is in constant flux, but based on the current CDC guidelines and the recommendations of our state, we feel that by next January, it will be safe to gather and celebrate. Patrick proposed to Macy on June 13, 2020 at Oceanside Harbor (Oceanside, CA). Patrick and Macy frequently spend time together at the harbor, enjoying each other's company and taking Keaka for the sniffs. It was seemingly an ordinary day - Macy packed delicious poke bowls and cocktails, Patrick was playing Rebelution on the drive over, the seals were playing in the water, and their land seal, Keaka, was happy to be along for the ride. As the sun was beginning to set, Patrick got down on one knee and got the yes! There was some light applause from another couple enjoying the evening sunset, then celebrations and the calls to family began.
