Our story is one we’ll share and laugh about forever. We met through Macys parents Mike and Sarah. Kenon worked with Sarah in Wenatchee at a furniture store, then worked for Mike and Sarah doing their landscaping, and finally with Mike at a construction company. Macy had somehow never met Kenon while living in and visiting Wenatchee even though he had already met her son multiple times. One day while visiting Wenatchee Macy and her parents went on a car ride and started to talk about finding Macy a match. This is when her parents started to brainstorm a way to get Macy and Kenon to meet, they were around the same age, just starting out in life, and Kenon seemed like a pretty good guy. Macy was against the idea of an arranged relationship because she wanted to meet someone on her own terms. After that, Mike invited Macy out to dinner with him….. and apparently with his work crew…. (Macy knew she was being set up but Kenon had no clue what was going on) Mike even sat the two of us across from each-other hoping we would talk… we didn’t. Kenon was so tired from work that day and Macy was too shocked and slightly embarrassed. After that we went our separate ways and Macy figured if they were destined to be together the universe would show her a sign. Little did she know the sign would be a dating profile of a gamer boy with a deck of Pokemon cards staring right at her with a “likes you” on the top right. One planned surprise dinner, two swipes, and about three planned dates later, we’re getting married 🥰
