Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, formal attire! We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! For women, this includes floor-length gowns or elegant cocktail dresses. For men, a suit and tie are requested (no jeans, please!). Since we are celebrating in August, we recommend breathable fabrics like linen-blends or silk to stay cool. Rest assured, the ceremony and reception will both be held indoors with plenty of air conditioning! Most importantly, we want you to feel your absolute best and most confident as we celebrate this special day together!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have a block of rooms reserved for our guests, along with several other nearby suggestions. Please head over to our Travel page for all the details and booking links!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you! We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes earlier than planned to secure parking and enjoy a stress-free arrival. Parking Garages: The Arts District Garage and Sheridan-Walker Garage are the most convenient covered options. Street Parking: Metered and free street parking is available along Couch and Colcord Drives on a first-come, first-served basis. Surface Lots: There are various private 'pay-to-park' lots surrounding the Civic Center Music Hall. Prices are set by the lot owners and typically range from $10–$20. Accessibility & Drop-Off: If you have limited mobility or need a close drop-off point, please use the 603 W Main Street Lot (accessible via Main Street). Inform the attendant you are there for an ADA drop-off. A limited number of accessible spots are available in this lot for $15 (cash only).

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the capacity of our historic venue, we are only able to accommodate those specifically listed on your wedding invitation. When you go to RSVP, you will see the names of all the guests included in your party. If you have any questions or concerns about your invitation, please feel free to text Macy directly!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults only event due to the requirements of our historic venue and seating constraints. We hope this advance notice allows you to treat the evening as a well deserved parents' night out! We want all of our favorite people to be able to relax, let loose, and celebrate with us to the fullest. We can't wait to see you on the dance floor!
