Our Story

Two years, one club, and a lot of patience later…(by Jack of course)

Jack and Macy first officially crossed paths in 2024, even though Jack will happily tell anyone that his crush started a couple of years earlier. They ran in the same circles, and apparently he thought she was cute long before she even realized he existed. Eventually, MaxLiving Club (and a little divine timing) brought them into each other’s orbit, and everything really sparked that December at Camp Transformation. After much encouragement from friends and mentors, five months later Jack asked Macy to “get food” — which she confidently assumed was completely platonic. Meanwhile, he had an entire evening planned. Their first date ended up being at Ponce City Market: grabbing dinner, wandering through the shops, and walking the BeltLine. They wound up at a park, people-watching and talking for hours… while Macy was still trying to figure out if this was a date or not. Classic Macy! Finally, toward the end of the night, Jack casually said, “This has been a great date.” Macy blinked and replied, “Is that what this is? Because I was asked to get food. (Get food is something you do with one of the guys…)” For the record, she absolutely saw all the signs — she just wasn’t going to assume anything without him actually calling it a date. From there, things moved sweetly and quickly. Macy left for Africa, Jack left for Utah and Arizona, and somehow their story grew through long-distance texts, late-night FaceTimes, and even an international phone plan. When Macy picked him up from the airport, he officially asked her to be his girlfriend on July 5th. And here’s the wildest part: back in February, Macy’s mom had actually sent her Jack’s Facebook profile picture and told her she should ask him to get coffee. Almost prophetic, right? Since then, their life together has been a blur of coffee dates, study sessions, movie nights, and more Texas Roadhouse rolls than they’d care to admit. They cannot wait to see how God continues to write their story as one and are so excited to celebrate this day with you
