Our Story

Love is a marathon not a sprint!

We grew up 6 pews apart at Magdalen Catholic Church, one classroom away, and our brothers being friends. Isaiah had reached out to me over instagram inquiring about how PSR (an evening religion class I teach) was going. Obviously, he was asking me out. I did not get that memo. A year or so later a dating app reconnected us. I saw Isaiah had liked me, sent him a message with my number, and the date was set. He picked me up at my house for a coffee date at 3 p.m. (his morning after working night shift). Our coffee date eventually rolled into dinner, where we went to Oak and Pie and were served by a family friend, shout out Blake! Finally we headed home, but not wanting the date to end we stood and talked in the driveway until midnight. I told my parents this was either my husband, or the worst break up of my life. A month later we were in love and by Spring Break I was looking for rings. When Isaiah proposed I was overcome with excitement, snatched the ring from his hand and put it on my own finger. Isaiah, still kneeling on the ground, proclaimed "but will you marry me!" to which of course, I said yes. We have been on so many adventures together such as skiing, scuba diving, family weddings, and more. Isaiah and I are so blessed to have two families rooted in faith, supporting us through each phase of our life. We cannot thank all of you enough for your love!
