It all started with a simple introduction through a friend—and a trip to Chick-fil-A. From the very first moment, something felt different. When we shook hands, I just knew Brandon was going to be in my life forever. There was something about the way he looked at me that I couldn’t ignore. We officially started dating on March 8, 2024, and everything seemed to fall into place. Some of our favorite memories are the times on the golf course during the summer—laughing, being just slightly too competitive, and enjoying the simple moment! It also happens to be the one thing I can beat Brandon at… and I make sure to remind him every chance I get. This also ties into a huge reason for choosing the venue for the greatest day of our lives! The proposal felt like something straight out of Beauty and the Beast. Brandon planned it with the help of his mom and sister, convincing me I was just having a girls’ day at a bookstore. What I didn’t know was that he was waiting for me by a Christmas tree upstairs after having to go into another room, scoping out a fun place for a picture while a photographer took infant christmas pictures by the main christmas tree. We walked back into the main room after the photographer and family moved and to my surprise, Brandon was now standing in front of the Christmas tree. As I walked closer, he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of our lives together. The photographer that was just taking christmas pictures got to capture a few pictures of the special moment and gifted us the photos...mind you, she was really there by coincidence! Such a God moment! What I love most about Brandon is his selflessness, the respect he shows others, and his gentle heart. He always loves my acts of service and the precious moments we get to spend together. Together, we’ve built a life full of love and laughter, and we can’t wait what God has planned for our lives as we continue to build on the love that we have and his gift of family.
