FAQs

Question

When & Where is the Ceremony?

Answer

It's on the invite, silly! But just in case you lost it, it's on October 10th, 2026 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in New Waverly, Tx. Reception to follow at Tosca Vineyards in New Waverly, TX. Ceremony starts at 4pm, reception starts at 5:30pm

Question

But what do I wear???

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal. Please be aware that you will be attending mass, so your safest bet is your Sunday best. For my cowboys and country folks, yes you can wear your nicest starched & irons but I wanna see that CREASE. Cowboy hats are acceptable (and encouraged if you're asking the man who's footing the bill). Ladies, it's chilly in the church and will be chilly at night so my suggestion is a midi or maxi dress with something to throw on over your shoulders. The reception will be held under a tent on a concrete slab but everywhere around it is grassy, so consider that when choosing your shoes.

Question

Okay, but will there be booze?

Answer

Does a one legged duck swim in a circle? Lex and I are batch-making her signature cocktails - espresso martinis and lemondrop martinis. We will also have a selection of beers, a red & white wine, and champage. If you want to BYOB you must bring it to the bar (located on the inside of the historic cabin on the reception property) and the bartender will serve it for you.

Question

Can I Bring My Kids?

Answer

I love your kids, but allllllll 200 of my cousins have multiple kids and this venue has a limit that we are already going over. So unfortunately, we will not be allowing children (with the exception of our direct family members). Your invite will explicitly state who is invited. If you have any questions please reach out to me or Bradley.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

September 4th, 2026! If you don't RSVP before this date, we're counting you as a no. I or Bradley will be hounding the stragglers the week prior but please for the love of all things good and holy do not make me do that. I'll call your mom and tattle. Don't tempt me with a good time.
