Ever hear of love at first sight? How about love at first swipe? Yes, David and I met on an online dating app. The funny thing is, I almost didn't say hello in time! (bumble problems) He stated " Not looking for anything serious, just my future wife" and he scored points for making me laugh. Looking back, he sure was serious! The first date definitely turned out to be more than I expected. I’ll just say that we met up at 5PM and the date ended the next day at 10AM. So this is where the story probably should have ended with how online dating is these days. However, of course things don’t always happen the way you expect, and when you least expect it you meet the love of your life. We were hooked and the rest is history.

David got down on one knee on Sand Dollar Island, one of my favorite islands in North Carolina. We spent the day on the shore celebrating with my family and collecting sand dollars to remember the moment!
