Welcome to the party y'all!

It was in August 2006 when Maggie walked into a little dive bar in Athens, GA called J.R.'s Baitshack (yep, it was as classy as an establishment as one could imagine) and filled out an application for a bartending job. Josh had been in Athens for a couple years had become a local among the music & nightlife scene. They were co-workers at J.R.'s and Maggie would often be working the upstairs bar on nights when Josh played with his band. Over time, their work relationship turned into a real friendship until one night Josh asked Maggie to join him for dinner. He picked her up in his 1993 Ford Bronco. He wore his new button down shirt, she wore a red dress. They laughed and talked music over dinner at the Five & Ten in Athens' historical Five Points neighborhood. But not every love story finishes with "the rest is history". These two 20-somethings had an appetite for travel and adventure was calling. After years of living between Atlanta & Savannah, GA to Park City, Utah to Costa Rica to Germany - the two subsequently landed in Charleston, South Carolina. Josh & Maggie officially "put the band back together" in 2015. On January 1, 2020, the two went to Folly Beach for their 3rd Annual Polar Plunge. After running into the ocean, Josh got down on one knee & hid a ring in the sand beneath him. He convinced Maggie there was a shark tooth buried in the sand & encouraged Maggie to reach for it. She instead pulled out a shark's tooth necklace they made a year prior and a beautiful aquamarine & diamond ring shined bright under the New Years Day sun. After realizing the ring was for her, Maggie said 'Yes!' Thank you to all our family & friends who have supported us and our journey. We love you all immensely. -Maggie & Josh
