Mac & Sarah met in October 2020 on Hinge in the thick of the COVID-19 era. Mac was preparing to head off to the Ocean County Police Academy, and Sarah was in her Senior Fall semester at The College of New Jersey navigating the recent cancer diagnosis of her mom. While chatting for a few days, Sarah took a break from the dating app to reset amidst all the chaos happening in her life... but something pulled her back to Mac. After a week of no contact, Sarah reached back out to Mac, and Mac asked her on a date "before she could ghost him again". Mac & Sarah met at The Alchemist & Barrister in Princeton, NJ on November 8th, 2020 for their first date, where they sat, drank, ate, and talked for 6 hours straight. And so their story had officially begun.

Sarah watched Mac complete the Police Academy and become a full-time Police Officer in River Edge, NJ Sarah supported Mac during the loss of his mom, and Mac has been supporting Sarah as her mom continues her fight against cancer The couple moved in together in the Summer of 2022 to their first apartment Mac & Sarah adopted their first rescue dog, Reese Mac supported Sarah as she graduated from TCNJ and went on to earn her MBA Mac & Sarah bought their first home, a fixer upper, in April 2025 and are slowly turning it into their forever home ... and there are so many more blessings to come. Mac and Sarah are excited to continue their lives together in marriage, surround by their village of family and friends!
