When do I need to RSVP?
Answer
We hope you'll be able to join us, but we understand if you can't make it. Either way, please let us know by April 8!

Is the party indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The reception will be entirely outdoors under a canopy tent.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
Cocktail or semi-formal attire would be perfect. Keep in mind, we'll be outdoors and on grass, so you may want to skip suit jackets and high heels.

Are kids invited?
Answer
We love your little ones but hope you can leave them at home and join us for a fun night off! Our celebration will be mostly adult-only, with the exception of some close family children and those traveling from out of state. Please check your invitation to see if your kids are invited. If you're not sure, or if leaving your kids home would prevent you from joining us, please reach out to Macks or Ashley.

Will there be a ceremony or just a reception?

Just a reception! We're planning a private wedding ceremony at the end of May, but we're excited to celebrate with all our friends and family on the farm in June.

Will there be food and drinks?
Answer
Yes! We're still working out the details, but there will be a buffet-style dinner and desserts. We'll do our best to have options for everyone's dietary needs. We'll also have beer, wine, and nonalcoholic drinks.

What will the weather be like this time of year?
Answer
It'll probably be warm and a bit humid. At the end of June, temperatures in Maryland are usually in the high 70s/80s during the day and in the 60s at night.

Will I need to rent a car?
Answer
If you're flying in from out of town, you'll probably need to rent a car. Our reception will be on a family friend's farm, so there's no public transportation nearby and Uber/Lyft can be hit or miss.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Answer
We don't have a hotel block for guests, but there are many hotels in the area. The closest hotels to the farm are in Gettysburg (~20-25 minute drive). Check the travel page for more info!
