Question

Where do I stay?

Answer

We recommend finding a place to stay ASAP due to high demand of hotels in the area. We have a list of hotels on our “Travel & Lodging” page.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at the Courtyard Rockaway - Mt. Arlington in Mt. Arlington. Please book your stay by April 15, 2026 to guarantee a room in our block. Use the link under the travel & lodging page to book your stay, or mention Knouse/Miller wedding when booking over the phone to receive our reduced rate. Please note that this is where the after party will be held.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage you to dress up with us! Please wear your finest cocktail attire, Garden Party Formal is recommended.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under 21 on our wedding day. You deserve a night out!

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing a shuttle service between the Courtyard Rockaway - Mt. Arlington and the venue. Ahead of the ceremony, there will be a shuttle to Crossed Keys Estate time TBD. After the reception, the shuttle will be transporting guests back to the hotel.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our ceremony “unplugged” and refrain from taking any photos or videos.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless your invitation specifically allows for a plus 1, we ask that you do not bring a date. If you are allowed and bringing a plus 1, they must be included in your RSVP.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is lots of parking on site! If you choose to Uber/Lyft, we suggest scheduling those ahead of time.

Question

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors in the garden, while the cocktail hour will be indoors and outdoors and the reception will be indoors. Guests will walk to the garden on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.
