Nick and I met for the first time at a party in college. I saw him and I thought, "Wow. He's quite attractive!" So, I tried starting a conversation with him but he was distracted with the lightbulb he had in his hand. I let it go and went off to talk to everyone else. I never forgot his name or face though.. he kind of just stuck with me. After about two years, I was scrolling through a dating app and all of a sudden, I saw a familiar face. It was Nick and I swiped right super fast. We ended up matching and naturally the first thing Nick ever said to me was, "Howdy." We talked for awhile and eventually we went on our first date at the ever so romantic, Buffalo Wild Wings. If you know Nick, you know he's not a talker but I am. This date was filled with me talking and Nick nodding and adding words here and there. I actually asked Nick what his impression of me was and he said "You talked a lot". Opposites attract, don't ya know. Not long after that first date, we began officially dating. We both graduated from college and finally lived in the same place instead of having to travel 2+ hours to see each other. Then, in July of 2021, Nick got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. That was the fastest 'Yes' of my life. We have grown together as a couple through the years and we are so excited for our journey through life together. We look forward to seeing you at the wedding!
